GRUNDTVIG Learning Partnerships
Sustainable urban living - Let's learn from urban lifestyle
Through the Grundtvig Learning Partnership Program we would like to share and spread our knowledge on sustainable urban lifestyle and consumption and use it to affect the real welfare of the individual and society as a whole. The partnership serves social justice while realizing the sustainable, effective management of resources and avoiding the decline of environmental values.
We; Messzelato (HU), Veronica (CZ), Vertigem (PT), Innovation Institute (PL) created our working group to utilize and share our advantage that we gained in different fields of interests. All partners in this learning partnership are deeply interested in our chosen common topic: sustainable urban lifestyle and local consumption.
Sustainable consumption and production and food safety is a key priorities also in the European Union. This topic is a challenge and an opportunity. Learning and sharing knowledge about sustainable urban lifestyle and local consumption is very important for all partners who work with different target groups. Actions and activities in this field ensuring better and more accessible information on the environment for citizens and to raising environmental awareness. Better informed citizens can make informed choices to bring about concrete changes in their attitudes and behaviour with beneficial impact on environmental protection. It can toward them to a quality change in their life and health.
During the the 2 years of partnership we will involve new target groups like local adult learners, elderly volunteers and also marginalized group of the society.
